Samuel
B. Lupowitz was raised by wolves, weaned on the comedy of
the Marx Brothers, and inspired by the music of the Beatles.
During his early adolescence in Reading, Pennsylvania, Sam
also fell under the spell of such classic rock luminaries as
Led Zeppelin,
Billy Joel, and Elton John, and from then on all hope was
lost
for the young man.
Sam is the creator and sole proprietor
of a large collection of terrible puns. These puns are so
terrible that their recitation
is specifically prohibited by the Geneva Conventions.
Sam
both sings and plays bass, sometimes even at the same time.
No stranger to the stage, Sam began his career fronting
a band
called Easily Amused. Easily Amused is notable for having
both Ben and Mark before either of them knew how to play
guitar.
That’s
about all it’s notable for, really.
In recent years
Sam has opened up to newer influences and heavier music,
with his penchant for piano pop-rock balanced by a
firm love of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica and
Rage
Against the Machine.
Currently Sam bides his time waiting
for the apocalypse and knitting sweaters by the fireside
(just kidding).
He also
writes for musical
theater (not kidding, but we wish we were).
He is
a Virgo. Draw your own conclusions about that.
